Crispy Beer-Battered Fish’n’Chips
You’re going to love this Crispy Beer Battered Fish n chips recipe. One batter, 2 dishes! The beer’s carbonation makes the batter super light and airy. However, it still has a great crunch. You’ll physically hear it when you bite into these. If the beer is scaring you, no worries – the taste gets cooked out when frying.  2 lbs fresh white tuna steak, cut into large cubes
 4 potatoes, cut into fries
 2 cups all-purpose flour
 1 tbsp Cajun spice
 2 tsp garlic powder
 2 tsp onion powder
 2 tsp paprika
 2 tsp kosher salt
 1 tsp ground black pepper
 ½ baking powder
 ½ baking soda
 13 oz beer
 Oil for frying
 1 Lemon, cut in wedges
Home-made Cajun Seasoning
 1 tbsp paprika
 2 tsp salt
 1 tsp garlic powder
 1 tsp onion powder
 ¼ tsp ground cayenne pepper
 2 tsp black pepper
 ½ tsp dried thyme
 ½ tsp dried oregano

In a large bowl, combine the flour, spices, baking powder, baking soda and beer. Mix together until a pancake-like batter has formed.

Heat 2 inches of oil in a large pot. Toss fries into the batter until completely covered. Let the excess batter drip down and drop it into the hot oil in small batches. If they stick together, use tongs to gently separate them. Fry for 5-7 minutes until they are deep golden brown. Place on a paper-towel-lined plate to drain. Sprinkle with paprika and parsley flakes.

3) Repeat for the fish. Dip the cut tuna steaks in the batter, fry for 5-7 minutes and drain on a paper towel. Sprinkle with salt and serve with lemon wedges.
